The standard 4-stage process, scaled to the small area. Deep debris clear first: the Roll&Comb 502E-AU lifts grit, leaf litter and loose organic matter out from between the fibres, and on this job that included lifting out the weed growth that had established in the infill and along the edges. Then the fibre lift, the machine combing the flattened, dulled pile back upright. Stage three is the bio-enzymatic treatment (P-Off) across the whole surface, breaking down uric acid and odour-causing bacteria at infill depth so the lawn is sanitised, not just tidied. Finally a full rinse down to flush the treatment through and clear any residue as the turf dries.
The colour came back vivid and even, the biggest change on a small lawn like this being the contrast between the dull, weed-spotted before and a clean uniform green after. The weeds were cleared, the pile was lifted, and the rinse left the surface fresh underfoot. Jacky left a five-star review, calling the results excellent and saying the grass looked fresh and clean again.

Bertram is one of the City of Kwinana's newer suburbs, largely built out since the late 1990s, so most of its artificial turf went in as part of new-build landscaping and isn't old. That leads a lot of owners to assume a young lawn doesn't need cleaning, but age isn't what drives it: dulled fibres come from foot traffic and UV, and weeds come from windblown seed settling into the infill regardless of how new the turf is. Can you get weeds out of artificial turf without damaging it?
Yes. Weeds in artificial turf almost always grow from seed that's blown in and settled in the infill or along the edge joins, not up through the backing, so they lift out as part of the debris clearing stage without harming the turf.
